   The official site of the new anime adaptation of manga Houshin Engi (or as it is known in the West: Soul Hunter) has announced that the series is scheduled to debut for the winter season (January) of 2018. Also new dub :

   None of these voice actors were part of the original anime, produced by DEEN studio in 1998, and which was shown in Brazil on the Locomotion channel having 26 episodes.

   Houshin Engi is a Ryu Fujisaki manga published between 1995 and 199 and has 23 volumes in total. The story is loosely based on the ancient Chinese book "Fengshen Yanyi". Thousands of years passed in the past, when an evil wizard bewitched the emperor of a mighty dynasty as a puppet. The country is in ruins and dark spirits wander in all directions. The Confederation of the Immortal Masters are planning a daring mission: they send a young sorcerer to hunt the evil villains and wizards in the devastated lands.
